We’re offering FREE e-bike courses at Greenglen and Panorama Recreation Centre.

Free E-bike Safety Courses
April 5th & 6th 2025
Designed with a blend of classroom instruction, parking lot practice, and on-road training that’ll get you feeling at ease on your eBike in no time! Learn the ins and outs of road rules and traffic safety specifically tailored for cyclists – essential knowledge for every eBiker. Capital Bike instructors will walk you through the various cycling routes and infrastructure in the Capital Region, helping you plan the safest and most enjoyable routes for your eBike adventures.
Get hands-on experience and hone your eBike handling skills in a non-traffic environment, and then put your newfound knowledge and skills to the test as you embark on a guided road ride through various traffic situations on local roads.
Free E-bike Safety Courses

In an effort to make e-bike cycling education accessible to more people we’ve partnered with HUB cycling to offer free Safe Cycling for E-bike courses to residents in underserved locations in the Saanich Peninsula in Spring 2025.
For residents located in Central Saanich, North Saanich and Sidney, as well as Tsartlip, Tsawout, and Pauquachin First Nations.

You can either bring your own e-bike to one of our courses, or borrow one of ours for free

Participants should come prepared with the following:

E-bikes fully charged and in good working order
