Ride the Road (Grades 6-7)

The BikeSmart Ride the Road program is designed for grade 6-7 students, empowering them with practical, hands-on bike knowledge and skills to boost their confidence on local roads.

Our expert instructors visit local middle schools to lead engaging lessons on essential rules of the road, traffic safety, and bike handling techniques. The highlight? A supportive ride through the school’s neighborhood, putting their newfound skills into action!

Developed by HUB Cycling in Metro Vancouver, Ride the Road is the ultimate opportunity to cultivate a generation of responsible and skilled young cyclists.

No bike or helmet? We’ve got you covered with free bikes and helmets available for borrowing, including adaptive ones for students with mobility challenges.
